Men's Shed Open Week

​

Between 12th and 18th of August the Men's Shed hosted an Open Week inviting members of the public a chance to come along, take a look around the premises and meet up with those who are already members, and to see the guys working on their woodworking projects.

 

The public were welcomed with tea & biscuits from George & Tim, the leaders of the shed, and answered questions and imparted some of their knowledge & skills regarding woodworking, and about the shed and how it operates. New members were encouraged to join the group which is normally open every Tuesdays and Thursday at 10am to 3pm. The Men's Shed is a great way to socialise in a friendly and welcome environment, make new friends and acquaintances and gain new skills and knowledge in woodwork.
