Thank you, 2021

Andy at desk

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of our Board of Trustees to say a hug thank you to all our staff, volunteers, shedders, customers, funders and partners agencies for their help and commitment during the last 12 months.

Without this commitment we would struggle to fulfil our objectives around alleviating social isolation through projects and services across North Dorset.

In these very uncertain times, it seems wrong to be asking for more volunteers, but the reality is that without greater numbers our Meals-on-Wheels Scheme will be under threat. Both our café and charity shop also need volunteers.

So, I say a huge thank you to you all. Have a great Christmas! Friends of Stour Connect would not be the same without you.

Andy Watson, Chairperson

Kindness At Christmas

A huge thank you to Harding's Farm at Buckthorn Weston and Launceston Farm at Blandford Forum for their kind donations of sausages and beef to support our schemes

Meals-on-Wheels

Customers of the wonderful Meals-on-Wheels scheme were absolutely thrilled to receive their FREE handmade Christmas placemats lovingly made by the Quarter Quilters of the Shaftesbury and Gillingham UA3 Group as part of the special Christmas lunches on the 22nd December.
