Parkinson's Dance
After a few false starts we are pleased to announce that the first new Parkinson Dance for 2023 will start again on the

Parkinson’s Dance is a fun and creative movement-based class, designed specifically to address the symptoms of Parkinson’s. The classes are led by a team of two specially trained teachers, Carrie and Darcy, using the Parkinson’s Dance Science model (a marriage of creative dance and neuro-physiotherapy).
Classes will take place on Thursday’s at Stour Connect at 11am-12:30pm and you can expect:
-
A social, fun and friendly community to connect to, including a post-class cuppa social.
-
A friendly duo of dance teachers who are specialised in delivering this model and can support you (both seated and standing options available throughout).
-
A safe environment that is staffed, clean and adaptable to your needs.
