Our café, "Café Connect", is open Mondays, Wednesday & Friday, 9:00 - 13:30, and Tuesday & Thursday 8:30 - 13:30. We now have outside seating facilities in the courtyard area (when weather permits).

Our prices are still VERY reasonable!

Tea/coffee: £1.00 - £2.00

Cakes: £2.00 - £2.50

Teacakes: £1.50

Baguettes/paninis (1 filling): £2.50 - £3.50 (depending on filling)

Jacket potato with 1 filling £3.50, with extra fillings 50p each

Sandwiches/rolls (1 filling): £2.50 - £2.75

Toasties (1 filling): £2.50 - £2.75

Additional fillings: 50p

Monday Lunch Club We also have a Lunch Club on Mondays. This is an extension of our Meals-on-Wheels service offering a hot meal in our café at the Community Connections centre in Sturminster Newton. The Monday Lunch Club gives people the opportunity to socialise with others at least one day a week, and to escape the isolation and loneliness they may be experiencing in their own homes. However, you do not need to be a customer of the Meal-on-Wheels service to take advantage of this scheme, Anyone can come! The Monday Lunch Club operates roughly between 12 noon and 2:00pm. The cost for the meals is the same for the Meals-on-Wheels service. See here…

We are also able to provide door to door return transport from your home to the centre. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this free, as we have to make a charge for this. Within Sturminster we charge £3 for the return trip, for all other areas £4. Fares to be paid to driver on the return journey. Cash only please! If you do require transport, please phone the office by the previous Friday before at the latest on 01258 471359.
